BearBull Games LLC ("BearBull," "we," "us," or "our") provides a fantasy stock market game where users draft stocks, allocate shares, compete in leagues and challenges, and track performance on leaderboards, via our website (playbearbull.com) and mobile application (the "App," together with the website, the "Service").

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide to Us

  • Account information: Name, email address, username, password (or credentials via Sign in with Apple/Google, if applicable), and profile details you choose to add.

  • Communications: Messages you send us, such as support requests or feedback.

b. Information We Collect Automatically

  • Gameplay and usage data: Stock picks, portfolio allocations, league participation, challenge entries, scores, rankings, and other in-app activity.

  • Device and technical data: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, IP address, app version, and general log data.

  • Analytics data: How you interact with the App (e.g., screens viewed, features used, session length), collected through analytics tools such as Firebase and/or Mixpanel.

  • Crash and diagnostic data: Crash logs and performance data, collected through crash reporting tools such as Sentry and/or Firebase Crashlytics, to help us identify and fix bugs.

  • Push notification data: A device token used to deliver notifications, if you enable them.

c. Information from Third Parties

If you choose to sign in or link an account through a third-party service (e.g., Apple or Google), we may receive basic profile information from that service as permitted by your settings with them.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account.

  • Operate core App functionality, including fantasy leagues, drafts, scoring, leaderboards, and challenges.

  • Generate reporting and analytics to understand how the Service is used and to improve it.

  • Monitor, diagnose, and fix technical issues, including through crash reporting.

  • Send push notifications and service-related communications. You can opt out as described in Section 6.

  • Maintain the security and integrity of the Service, including detecting fraud or abuse.

  • Comply with legal obligations.

BearBull is currently free to use. If we introduce paid subscription tiers or in-app purchases in the future, purchases made through the App will be processed by Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not directly collect or store your payment card information. Apple handles that information in accordance with its own privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as analytics (e.g., Firebase or Mixpanel), crash reporting (e.g., Sentry or Crashlytics), push notification delivery, hosting, and, in the future, payment processing through Apple.

  • Other users, in limited cases. For example, your username, rankings, and league activity may be visible to other players as part of the Service's core leaderboard and competition features.

  • Legal and safety purposes, if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of BearBull Games LLC, our users, or others.

  • Business transfers, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required or permitted to retain it for legal, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate business purposes.

5. Children's Privacy

BearBull is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information in Section 9.

6. Your Choices

  • Push notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.

  • Account information: You can review and update your account information within the App or contact us to do so.

  • Account deletion: You can request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting us using the information below. We will process your request within a reasonable time, subject to the retention exceptions described in Section 4.

  • Analytics opt-out: Depending on your device and operating system settings, you may be able to limit tracking or reset your advertising identifier through your device's privacy settings.

California Residents

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under applicable California privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, request deletion or correction of certain personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising applicable privacy rights.

We do not sell personal information.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, through the App or by other means.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
